On Sunday, October 27th, 1985, the Kansas City Royals

City to win the 82nd World Series four games to three. It was the first World

pair of RBIs, along with two hits in the Royals’ 6-1 victory to begin the series
comeback.

driving in three RBIs with a run and three hits as the Royals went on to take
an 11-0 win to earn the series championship.

White grabbed player of the game honors in game three,
as he knocked in three RBIs with two runs and two hits as the Royals won it
6-1.

Leibrandt pitched his way to player of the game honors
in game six, going seven and two-thirds innings with one earned run allowed on
four hits and two walks in the Royals’ 2-1 victory.
