On Sunday, December 30th, 1956, the New York Giants defeated
the Chicago Bears 47-7 in the 1956 NFL Championship Game to win the 37th
championship in NFL history. It was the fourth championship for the Giants franchise.
The game was held at Yankee Stadium in New York.
