On Sunday, December 16th, 1945, the Cleveland (now Los
Angeles) Rams defeated the Washington Redskins 15-14 in the 1945 NFL
Championship Game to win the 26th championship in NFL history. It was the first
championship for the Rams franchise. The game was held at Cleveland Stadium in Cleveland.
