On Sunday, December 28th, 1952, the Detroit Lions defeated
the Cleveland Browns 17-7 in the 1952 NFL Championship Game to win the 33rd
championship in NFL history. It was the second championship for the Lions franchise.
The game was held at Cleveland Municipal Stadium in Cleveland.
