On Sunday, December 15th, 1946, the Chicago Bears defeated
the New York Giants 24-14 in the 1946 NFL Championship Game to win the 27th
championship in NFL history. It was the seventh championship for the Bears franchise.
The game was held at Polo Grounds in New York.
