On Saturday, October 7th,

Minnesota Twins) at Griffith Stadium in Washington to win the 30th World Series
four games to one. It was the fourth World Series championship for the Giants
franchise and the second that was won in the District of Columbia. These are
the top five players that I felt most stood out during the series.

to start off the series.

the game honors in game three, having a complete game shutout with five hits
and two walks in the Senators’ 4-0 win.

(Giants)- PH
O’Doul got player of the
game in game two, coming off the bench to pinch hit and getting two RBIs and a

player of the game in game five, pitching five and two-thirds innings allowing
three earned runs on eight hits and a walk in the Giants’ 4-3 win in 10 innings
