On Sunday, December 11th, 1938, the New York Giants
defeated the Green Bay Packers 23-17 in the 1938 NFL Championship Game to win
the 19th championship in NFL history. It was the third championship for the Giants
franchise. The game was held at Polo Grounds in New York.
