On Sunday, June 11th, 2017, the Pittsburgh Penguins
defeated the Nashville Predators at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville to win the
103rd Stanley Cup Finals four games to two. It was the fifth (and, as of this
writing, most recent) Stanley Cup championship for the Penguins franchise, and
the first that was won in Tennessee. These are the top five players that I felt
most stood out during the series.

goal and two assists on the way to a 5-1 Predators victory.
4. #81 Phil Kessel (Penguins)- F

one goal and two assists in the Penguins’ 6-0 victory.
3. #13 Nick Bonino (Penguins)- F

up a pair of goals as the Penguins earned a 5-3 win.
2. #59 Jake Guentzel (Penguins)- F

a pair of goals in the Penguins’ 4-1 win.
1. #30 Matt Murray (Penguins)- G
