On Sunday, November 14th, 1993, the 1993 NASCAR Cup Series season concluded with Dale Earnhardt defeating Rusty Wallace by 80 points to win the 45th championship in Cup Series history. It was the sixth Cup Series championship for Earnhardt. These are the top five points finishers for the season.

The 1993 Daytona 500 was won by Dale Jarrett, while Dale Earnhardt led the most laps with 107.

5. #42 Kyle Petty (-666 points)

Petty grabbed the fifth spot as he had one victory, nine top-fives and 15 top-10s for an average finish of 13.5. Petty also led the most laps in two races.

4. #18 Dale Jarrett (-526)

Jarrett scored fourth in points with one win, 13 top-fives and 18 top-10s, getting an average finish of 12.4.

3. #6 Mark Martin (-376)

Martin earned third in points as he picked up five wins, 12 top-fives and 19 top-10s for an average finish of 11.6 while leading the most laps in six races as well.

2. #2 Rusty Wallace (-80)

Wallace claimed runner-up with 10 victories, 19 top-fives and 21 top-10s, getting an average finish of 9.4, while leading the most laps in nine starts.

1. #3 Dale Earnhardt

Earnhardt got the championship with six wins, 17 top-fives and 21 top-10s for an average finish of 8.2. Earnhardt also led the most laps in nine races during the season.
