On Sunday, November 30th, 1924, the 1924 NFL season
concluded with the Cleveland Bulldogs (not to be confused with the Canton
Bulldogs) holding the best regular season record at 7-1-1 to win the fifth
championship in NFL history, while the Chicago Bears took the runner-up spot for
the third straight season with a 6-1-4 record. It was the first and only
championship for the Bulldogs franchise.
Tex Hamer of the Frankford Yellow Jackets scored the
most touchdowns during the season with 12.
