On Sunday, February 4th, 2007, the Indianapolis Colts
defeated the Chicago Bears 29-17 in Super Bowl XLI to win the 87th championship
in NFL history. It was the fourth championship for the Colts franchise as Colts
quarterback Peyton Manning won the Super Bowl MVP Award. The game was held at Dolphin
Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida.
San Diego Chargers running back LaDainian Tomlinson won
the 2006 MVP Award with 28 rushing touchdowns and 1,815 rushing yards, while Miami
Dolphins Jason Taylor won the 2006 Defensive Player of the Year Award with two
interceptions, nine forced fumbles and 13 and a half sacks.
