On Sunday, February 12th, 2023, the Kansas
City Chiefs defeated the Philadelphia Eagles 38-35 in Super Bowl LVII to win
the 103rd championship in NFL history. It was the third (and, as of
this writing, most recent) championship for the Chiefs franchise, and second
since becoming members of the NFL. Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes earned
his second Super Bowl MVP Award, with the game being held at State Farm Stadium
in Glendale, Arizona.
Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes won his second MVP Award
with 41 passing touchdowns and 5.250 passing yards, while San Francisco 49ers
defensive lineman Nick Bosa won his first Defensive Player of the Year Award
with two forced fumbles and 18.5 sacks.
